Hello world! We are seeking founding members (Alpha Play Testers) to launch a gaming themed personal development network, The Omega Gamer DAO.
What is a personal development network? A personal development network is a group of individuals who have made a commitment to improve themselves. Hence our official motto, “Getting our $h!t together, together!”
Why use a gaming theme?
While commonly associated with entertainment, studies have shown gaming can improve many skills including: Problem Solving, Emotional Resilience, Creative Thinking, Leadership & Teamwork. The same strategies that we use for gaming can easily be applied to daily life to help us approach challenges in new but familiar ways.
What is a decentralized autonomous organization?
DAO stands for decentralized autonomous organization. Similar to any standard organization, such as Limited Liability Corporation (LLC), a DAO provides a structure for people to work together towards a common mission. However, unlike standard organizations that rely on a traditional top-down governance style, a DAO’s emphasis on decentralization and automatization empowers members and reduces inefficiencies making it uniquely suited to manage community-centric projects, such as a personal development network.
