Don’t let the name fool you. “Final Arrival” is actually Chorus of the Forest’s first arrival as an artist on Sound, but he’s not going into it alone. The open edition drop features vocals from Jadyn Violet, who’s already released two songs on the platform and has over 180 collectors to date.
The two met in the studio while working on their track “Sugar Sweet Girl,” and that connection instantly got Jadyn out of a massive creative rut, explaining in the Sound’s song description, “James' production style inspired me to finally write a track that meant a lot to me. It was amazing to see a lot of the web3 community resonate with that track and it only made sense to come out with a follow up.”
That creative spirit is still alive and well on “Final Arrival,” which juxtaposes thuds of cinematic synth basses with ethereal synthesizers that work in tandem to create an otherworldly atmosphere for Jadyn’s voice to command. That direction pushed Jadyn into an entirely new sonic realm, adding, “I got the chance to truly be uncomfortable with the song ‘Final Arrival’ in the best way possible and I'm so excited for everyone to listen to it!”

Behind the Music
Chorus of the Forest may be a newcomer to Sound, but that doesn’t mean that he’s been a stranger to web3 or the world of music as a whole. The artist actually has 15 years of experience in the music industry, having started off as an audio engineer before settling into his current role as a producer.
Even though he hasn’t dropped as an artist on Sound before, his production has actually been sitting in the background for quite some time. In December, Caly Bevier dropped the song “America” on the platform, which featured him on production credits.

Chorus of the Forest comes into the Music NFT space with an extensive knowledge on the music industry and its inner workings. He’s combining his expertise in that space with his newfound love for all things web3.
To celebrate his first drop, he’s offering collectors an alternate mix that harners the immersive power of Spatial Audio. He’s also giving the option to have a video call with him to talk about the song and his professional opinion on the music industry using his 15 years of experience.
