mClub Season 3 Launch

mCLUB exists to support and grow creators on Mirror, and we’re coming in hot to Season 3. 🔥

For Season 3, we will deepen and expand mClub’s self-organizing capacity. We’ve identified five key milestones:

  • Onboard 2 Lead Roles
  • Level Up Our Content
  • Retool Onboarding
  • Implement a Curation Plan
  • Execute successful NODOB fundraise

Onboard 2 Lead Roles

We’re hiring a Community Lead and a Mirror As A Service (MaaS) Lead to expand mClub’s organizational capacity in Season 3. Each lead will cultivate a team of two additional mClub community members, and collectively they will steward our Community and MaaS vision.

Why Community Lead? Because what would mClub be without an emphasis on community? The Community Lead will implement and iterate our onboarding process, facilitate mClub’s Inclusivity and Equity plan, and push forward planning for future seasons.

Why MaaS Lead? Because mClub is positioned to provide both financial and intellectual support to creators and projects on Mirror.The MaaS Lead will refine our service value proposition and provide an initial proof of concept for three projects on Mirror.

Do these spark your interest? Apply here or DM Clavis on Twitter if you need anything.

Level Up Our Content

Our Editorial Team is growing. We’ve onboarded four new writers to support a more active flow of content to our Mirror. Growing our Editorial Team aligns with our Season 3 goals to (1) amplify mClub’s voice in web3; (2) establish mClub as a thought leader in the Mirror creator/project-development ecosystem; and (3) establish mClub as a curatorial thought leader.

Anyone is welcome to pitch to mClub! We’re currently seeking submissions that align with mClub’s core purpose:

  1. To recruit, seed, and cultivate creators and projects on Mirror;
  2. To become a thoughtfully curated Mirror vertical highlighting innovative projects, great creators, and best practices;
  3. To create an in-real-time learning experience for people excited to get down with DAOs.

Always Be… Improving Onboarding

It’s no secret that DAO onboarding is one of the biggest pain points in web3. Because our third guiding principle is to “Create an in-real-time learning experience for people excited to get down with DAOs,” we want to ensure our onboarding process is in tip-top shape. That means we are always retooling and iterating both the mechanics and the concepts for how we onboard new contributors to mClub, including 1:1 sessions and real-time group onboarding. We’re looking forward to sharing what we find out at the end of Season 3.

Curating for Equity

Our venerable Curator Lead Natalie Crüe will begin implementing mClub’s intentional curation plan. We’ve focused on curation to ensure that the best Mirror projects and creators find their way through the crowded web3 playground.

Our Season 3 theme is Equity. Creators must identify with and belong to one or more of the following categories:

  1. BIPOC: Black Indigenous People/Persons of Color
  2. Global South/Non-Western Countries
  3. Women
  4. Disabled

Is this you? Reach out to Natalie on Twitter to discuss how to get you and/or your project featured.
