We’re seriously tired. It’s been a long time since we all learned about Bitcoin, about crypto, about mining, about DAOs, about NFTs, about the Metaverse. The list just keeps on growing and growing, and the notifications just keeps on coming and coming. Every second, something’s happening on Twitter, on Discord, on Reddit, on Telegram. It’s another new token, another new NFT drop, another project that will make you rich, that will change the world!
Yet somehow, the space still just feels so …… empty.
If you feel like we do, just know that you’re not alone. Through all this chaos, there really hasn’t been much that has actually been done. Sure, we’ve tested all these new ideas, and pushed the markets to all-time highs. But what have we actually brought to the world?
Unfortunately, not a whole lot.
We had enough. We decided that together, we can really change things. It won’t be easy, and it won’t be quick. We won’t moon, and we probably won’t get tweeted by Elon. But step by step, slowly and steadily, we’re going to build Une together, and we want your help.
So, what is Une Meta?
Une is nothing but a group of people. It’s you, it’s me, it’s Satoshi, it’s the cashier at your local supermarket. It’s all of us, and together, we’re going to build something amazing, something that’ll help the world, something that’ll help us move forward.
What will we build together?
There isn’t really a catchy word for what we’re making. We like to think that we’re building a tool. A tool that is easy for anyone to use, one that will help everyone transition to the metaverse we will live in.
In the beginning, Une will start as a NFT marketplace (oh no, not another marketplace!) But in this stage, we will focus on making things actually work well, and we will develop and test a lot of free tools and features for the NFT community and for those thinking about joining.
The next step, and what makes Une special, is that we will become a social space and info hub. Une will be a place where you can show off your stuff, talk to your friends, play games, read and write, learn about things, watch movies, listen to music, you know, do whatever. From there, anything and everything else is entirely up to you.
So really, the more important question is: What do you want Une to become?
How will we bring good to the world?
It is our core belief that the world is pretty f*cked up. The pandemic, climate change, destruction of wildlife, wealth inequality, corporate data theft and many, many more issues plague our future and present. If nothing is done, things will surely get worse.
It also just so happens, that as we’re adopting to the Metaverse, we have the perfect opportunity to just do something. For all the capital we have in blockchain, we have hardly made any positive impact on the world. You can even argue that the electricity we used up has only made things worse.
As Une, we believe that if we are going to embrace our decentralized future, we also need to help fix the damages of our centralized past. As such, Une will donate up to 30% of all its earnings to nonprofits, determined by the community each quarter. This way, we can consistently bring good to the world, while also put some food on the table (hopefully). Une will also continuously host events, develop tools and more with the goal of helping those in need. We believe that if we do things right, we can also change how nonprofit organizations work and help them establish new sustainable models in the Metaverse.
Perhaps even more importantly, Une will bring good to the world by making sure that you matter. Right now, much of our own value have been stripped away for the benefit of others. The single, most important goal of Une is to be a tool to help you reclaim your own value. Whether it’s your social value taken away by big tech, the true value of your assets taken by brands, or the value of your creativity taken by the middleman, Une will use our community and tools to help everyone truly own their identity and retake control. In another way, you can think of Une as a place where you will be rewarded for doing what you already do – being you. Whether that’s trading, showing off NFTs, making cool stuff, helping others, voting or anything else, you will be rewarded, and how it’s done will also be decided by you and the community.

At beta launch, you will be able to:
- Make NFTs
- Trade or Auction NFTs with ETH
- Set Royalties for your NFTs
- Create Collections
- Trade Une Exclusives
- Participate in Events
- Earn Points ($UNE) for Activity
You will also be able to use our tools to make Bloxes using NFTs (more info to come!), do cool things with our NFT discord bot (Meta Bot go brrrr~) and more, depending on how much caffeine our poor developers have. (Thank y’all so much btw)

First off, thank you! Une is going to have a lot of problems, so everyone is always welcome to help, we’re sure going to need it all.
The best thing you can do for Une will be to just mess around. Upload your memes, paint master pieces, guitar solos, Bored Apes (flex on em) and whatever you got! Participate in our events as well if you think they’re cool. (It’s fun ^_^)
