According to a document, the Changshu City Local Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau and the Changshu City Finance Bureau recently issued the "Notice on the Implementation of Full Salary Digital Renminbi Issuance". The notice stated that from May onwards, full digital renminbi payment of wages will be implemented for civil servants (including public servants), business personnel, and state-owned units at all levels in Changshu City.

As early as the 17th, Changshu City held a special promotion meeting for the city's digital renminbi pilot work, which mentioned that Jiangsu Province has launched a global digital renminbi pilot since this year. In addition, on March 6, Jiangdu Sub-branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China successfully launched the first digital RMB salary payment service in Yangzhou on the 2nd, and issued a total of 22 wages and subsidies to the employees of Jiangdu Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China.
