Aurelien Michel, the NFT developer of the MAYC imitation disk Mutant Ape Planet series, has pleaded guilty and was previously arrested on charges of defrauding $2.9 million. Prosecutor Dylan Stern and Michel's attorney, Adam Brody, asked the court to postpone the case until April 5 because they were negotiating a guilty plea and believed it would likely result in the case being disposed of without a trial.
