Bruises - Music Video Game & Listening Room NFTicket
Part music video, part video game, this first of its kind experience for “Bruises” is the first web3 powered music video game. Alongside the Nvak Collective, Annika has created a new way for fans to experience music.
This game was created using elements of Annika’s irresistible song “Bruises” throughout the interactive experience. You start in a bedroom and follow a trail of items leading you through a fantasy world and into a listening room.
Nvak and Annika have successfully looked at the fan to artist relationship under a new lens, exploring a new form of storytelling and engagement to create a deeper connection.
This experience was no small feat as each detailed environment was created via Unreal Engine 5 VFX by a team led by Nvak’s Chief Computer Graphics Officer, Tamir Diab.
Now, Phase 1 is launching! This mint window allows Invest in Music Pass holders to mint a free Listening Room NFTicket, which is an opportunity to mint her next single, and access to future game updates. This access pass unlocks Annika’s token-gated music environment, which will give fans access to unreleased music, music NFT mints, and more.
About Annika Rose
Annika Rose is an artist who has been involved in the music industry since she was in elementary school.
After putting out cover videos on YouTube at age 7, she joined her first band at age 10, and was scouted by an A&R at 13. She’s been in and out of different record deals since then before putting out music independently, and eventually linking with the artist-friendly Nvak.
She’s been consistently hosting a weekly “Listening Room” Twitter space for around a year now, giving fans and artists a place to give insight into what’s happening in the music web3 community.
Why Should I Care?
Annika is a natural fit for the web3 space and creates beautiful art that people will gravitate towards. In the past this was mostly captured by her music, but now she’s showcasing this with the new playbook of the music video game. If you create something that’s undeniably beautiful, people will be drawn to it.
The “Bruises” music video game is an organic way for the next wave of fans to be onboarded to the web3 space. Fans experiencing this game are able to do so without setting up a wallet or having any knowledge of the space.
