We are Phlote DAO.
Phlote is a discovery community built by and for curators. Our mission is to find amazing artists, “Phlote” them into web3, and help accelerate their careers using web3 financial infrastructure.
How do we do that? We’ve realized curated great art starts with curating great people and then adding ways for them to engage with each other. Add a layer of high quality editorial and you have the formula.
Our objective is clear.
Web3 delivers the opportunity for us all to create art with people we admire. The best DAO’s will be seen as open startups the don’t require an application, interview, or resume to join. Anyone globally is able to show up and contribute immediately.
If Phlote did have an application process, we would only ask one question: Can we trust and depend on you? We’re not a fit for everyone and that’s perfectly fine.
We’re witnessing a paradigm shift that will require new systems, new tools, and new mental models. New models are fundamentally changing how we work, create, and share value with one another. In most cases, a lot has to first be unlearned.
Communities will start to realign around shared values and culture will start to emerge intra community. We’re witnessing this first hand.
Mirror is where those at the leading the generational movement to Web3 are gathering and inviting others to participate. We’re glad to be building here and will use Mirror to document our discoveries along the way to building Phlote into something we’re proud of.
