Syncing Contacts and Finding People to Invite
Everything you do becomes memorable when you have your friends along with you.
We have made it simple for you to find people you already know, help you build your network, and expand your community in simple steps.
Once your onboarding is complete, there are two ways in which you can connect and converse.
Once you sync up your contact list in the app, coto will recommend connections to follow and/or invite your women friends onto coto in a single click.
And to make it more seamless, now you will have a separate tab of saved contacts from the synced-up contact list to either connect, DM, or invite directly! See, we told you we would make it easy and simple!
Here’s how to sync up your contact list with coto App in android and iOS, which is now live globally.
Start Connecting and Conversing
Once you are onboarded and have synced your contacts on coto — the real magic begins!
You will be guided towards creating/joining communities based on your interest. The coto community is open to everyone, whether you are a content creator, micro-entrepreneur, opinion leader, or simply someone who wants to be part of something special.
And this is where we have added a little something new to make it effortless.
To make ‘creating a community’ as easy as pie, now you can add/select/invite connections at the start of the community creation. What is beautiful is that you can select multiple members at a time.

#Feature 6— Introducing coto Rewards Program
Welcome to the coto Rewards Program, an exclusive limited-time program for all members on coto!
As we come together to build coto, you get rewarded for your efforts in building a community for women. So, you get rewarded for every action you take that supports the communities and encourages women on coto! How awesome is that!
Whether you are an early community creator on the platform or a member who interacts and contributes to community building, you will be rewarded on coto. No effort is wasted, and every contribution is accounted for.

It’s simple! coto Gains are rewards for every referral which can be used for on-platform utilities.
When you bring in your friends on coto, you earn coto Gains! Every time a new friend joins the platform for the first time using your unique referral link, you earn 1 coto Gains, and so does your friend!

And we can assure you that signing up on coto is as simple as it gets. Here’s the 4-step process to sign up. (A Quick revision, just in case)
Step 1: Choose your gender
Step 2: Sign in/Sign up using your authorized phone number or email address
Step 3: Facial Recognition for gender identification
New Addition*: At this step, we present an additional verification process to make the onboarding process simpler and stronger for all our global users.*
No matter which corner of the world you are in, you can verify yourself by uploading your passport details.
Step 4: You are in. Set up your profile!

Once your onboarding is complete, and you sync up your contact list in the app, ‘See All’ will take you to a separate page to see all connections recommended in the list view format. So, what are you waiting for? Connect and start conversing now!
#Feature 9— Inbox Notification — Tracking conversations made easy!
Someone joins your community, or there are new comments, likes, and shares — you will not miss anything — as tracking conversations are just a notification away! These inbox notifications will make your life easy in keeping track of every update.
#Feature 10— Tool Tips for — Connection Tabs
The newly added tooltips will guide users to explore and navigate the app’s different features seamlessly.
#Feature 11 — Community Tagging Made Easy!
Posted something and want the community members to discover it? Tag/Use ‘@community name’, and you are there! Ta-da!

Whether you are a member, a non-member or a community owner — just a simple click on the community profile photo or community name will land you to the community feed page. See how simple it is to keep yourself abreast of the ongoing conversations.
#Feature 13— Resend OTP Duration is now 60 seconds
Hola! Don’t fret about your 30 seconds OTP window for the app joining process, as it has been increased to 60 seconds. You will now have precisely 60 seconds before the new OTP is generated.
#Feature 14 — Redirection to individual post via Notification
We know how daunting it can be to navigate through the feed and find new posts. To make life easier, the new post notification feature of coto will take you directly to the new post without the hassle of scrolling down through the entire page.
