Introducing 'Not One Drop of Blood' A Feature Documentary and Podcast about Cattle Mutilation

BE PART OF A FILM YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO SEE

This is our call to the Web3 community (and new adopters) to join an experienced team of filmmakers in producing an independent feature documentary and podcast about a bizarre and fascinating subject we have gained intimate access to…

Logline: A rash of inexplicable cattle mutilations throughout Eastern Oregon jumpstarts an ongoing investigation, disrupting an already isolated community and jeopardizing their bucolic way of life.

What is this?

Eastern Oregon, with its remote and unseen expanses, is hiding a story that’s almost too much to believe. Working with veteran Northwestern journalist Anna King, who first broke this story for NPR, we have gained intimate access to a traditionally closed-off ranching community that is entrusting us to tell this story. We are calling this project ‘an ethnographic cowboy mystery,’ a tale anchored in a portrait of modern-day frontier Americana. Our documentary will track the string of open cattle mutilation investigations spread through this region, and capture the human experience of living amongst an otherworldly conspiracy with multiple theories.

We’re Just Getting Started

Created by an award winning crew of filmmakers and storytellers, NODOB is a documentary film aimed at changing the way prestige documentaries are funded and created.

The team has already self funded one extended trip to the region and came back with a trove of footage and confirmation that we are on to a unique mystery that has to be further explored.

Though we have had strong interest from major networks and streamers, we want to keep this project wholly independent. Many we spoke with wanted this to be a hokey trope, a caricature of this unique place and incredible, but very real, mystery. By staying independent we preserve the trust we’ve built with the residents of this community who have entrusted us to tell their story truthfully and with integrity.

Be a Part of Uncovering This Story and Making Cinematic History

Soon we will offer the opportunity to you all to be a part of this journey. By allowing users to back this project we hope to build a passionate community of mystery buffs and documentarians alike around this film while also opening a window to what is often a hidden process.

Once complete, we plan to captivate and immerse viewers via the international film festival circuit and prove to the traditionalists that there’s a new way to make movies, driven by a passionate web3 community.
