Mint-O-Matic ✅

✨ This post originally appeared in Metaversal on Bankless ✨

Rainbow just added in-app minting. Gallery is about to. TITLES already offers it as a cryptonative riff on the AI image gen apps I wrote on yesterday.

In other words? It’s getting easier and easier to mint new things across the board in the NFT space these days, and it’s these sorts of UX advances and proliferation that I think will pave the way to onchain media becoming ubiquitous in the future.

In the meantime? Have a great weekend and stay creative as always, for now let’s just get you caught up on the past week in NFTs Metaversal-style ✌️

🎆 Mint spotlight: Do You Want to Feel Something?

My three favorite areas of cryptoart? Dynamic art, onchain art, and conceptual art. A stunner drop this week within that lattermost category was Do You Want to Feel Something? by cult classic cryptoartist sgt_slaughtermelon.

A deeply sentimental, nostalgic, and in various ways labyrinthine collection, this one’s not to be totally understood so much as it’s to be felt and vibed with and questioned through. It’s not for everyone, but it’s certainly been a hit with more than a few people in NFT land this week, hailed as the feat of an artist’s artist. I 100% agree there.

It’s not a straightforward “mint” in the traditional sense, but if you click through and explore this audio-visual collection’s incredibly layered website, you may just find yourself on a Manifold mint page like so. Some limited edition mints remain available for as low as 0.01 ETH, so if you adventure through maybe you’ll find a conceptual cryptoart gem that suits you!

Tool Tip

✨ My NFT tool of the week: Gallery Posts

Gallery started out as an NFT curation platform, but now it’s evolving into a full-blown social app tailored for art sharing. That shift comes courtesy of the project’s latest feature, Posts, which lets creators and collectors post and comment on their NFT creations or collections in a familiar feed format. If nothing else, it’s a new avenue for us NFT adventurers to showcase our favorite pieces, so check it out!
