World of Cryptoids介绍:

**Matthew Y:**Hey I'm part of the WoC team. We're experienced in building GameFi, DeFi and infrastructure projects across the blockchain space. Our team is primarily based in Asia and have been buliding mobile gaming applications and crypto applications for the last decade.

Our team experience stems from building out mainstream mobile gaming applications and coupled with our blockchain developers - we believe we have the resources to make this a huge success.

The team has a long-term growth mindset with a substantial number of successful projects under their belt.

**Matthew Y:**World of Cryptoids is a blockchain based play to earn game where users can essentially breed monsters known as Cryptoids to engage in multiple gameplay modes available to earn a token known as CGC. This token can essentially be sold or even used for breeding among other things within the game.

A brand new sustainable Play to Earn blockchain game (sP2E) - World of Cryptoids is an action-packed turned based play-to-earn game. Players can breed, fight and battle against other Cryptoids, to earn token rewards. World of Cryptoids token economy has been designed around allowing players to invest in a sustainable game economy and providing a recurring source of income.

**主持人:**How did you get the name, why Cryptoids?

**Matthew Y:**The Cryptoids name basically came through searching for something that resonated with Crypto but also was easy to pronounce and catch on. The team decided that among other factors, Cryptoid’s was something that sounded fun and also had a game-like ring to it.

主持人: Why is World of Cryptoids special from other similar blockchain games?

**Matthew Y:**The game itself is built upon the principles seen in other games such as Axie which is primarily a scholarship based system and the play-to-earn mechanics. What makes us different is the way in which we have designed the token system and the gameplay mechanics.

One of the big design factors when deciding how to control inflation was through adjusting the breeding supply. You can see in Axie for example, as more players have entered the game, inflation has set in and people are earning less and less each month. We intend to change the way that system works through a number of mechanisms such as controlling breeding costs and supply.

Also as you can see, we just launched the free-to-play feature that merged with P2P concept, giving a whole new experience to the industry and we think that is just a beginning of how we make our game special.

**主持人:**How is it different from Axie Infinity and why should people play WOC instead of AI?

World of Cryptoids與 Axie Infinity 有何不同,為什麼人們應該玩 WOC 而不是 AI?

**Matthew Y:**At it’s core, Axie Infinity wouldn’t be something that is “fun” in the traditional sense. Playing the same character or running through adventure is something that is rather tedious after months of gameplay. We on the other hand have incorporated a number of new ideas into the game such as “Ultimate Challenge” and “The Kingdom” expansion which will directly bring Cryptoid’s into another game mode outside of the standard PvP and PvE seen in Axie Infinity. We’ve also taken this a step further by including newer skills, faster paced gameplay and a whole new gameplay mode that will be released much sooner than Axie.

**主持人:**Can you highlight your World of Cryptoids' token economy ? And how is your platform different from your competitors?

**Matthew Y:**World of Cryptoids token economic model was designed on the premise of quick and easy gameplay. We will provide users with a variety of ways to earn money but the important part is a sustained return on investment for our users by ensuring adequate token utility, a fair game economy and most of all a fun game.

**主持人:**Your huge part of focus is the sustainability of the p2e game, can you explain it in detail?

World of Cryptoids經常談到可持續發展的P2E遊戲模式,你能詳細解釋一下嗎?

**Matthew Y:**WoC will feature a dual token system, namely CGC and CAC. These two coins will be an important part of the breeding ecosystem and utility within the game. One of the primary functions will be scarcity of CAC; this token can only be earned through ranking high on the PVP ladder or bought through our exchange partners. On the other hand, CGC is meant to be used as the currency earned through playing the game and can be used in conjunction with CAC for stuff such as breeding and further gameplay in the Kingdom.

With the advent of games such as Axie Infinity and other games in the blockchain space we’ve noticed a recurring theme whereby players are required to invest more and more over time but at the same time receive less rewards. Essentially you see in these games that the period to break even on your interest becomes longer as you see token prices decrease over time. This sort of inflation is what World of Cryptoids is looking to solve and the key sustainability aspect is adjusting the driving forces behind making the game playable in the long run. We want players to make a decent earning.

**主持人:**What’s your plan for breeding the Cryptoids without overpopulation?

**Matthew Y:**We intend to ease of breeding Cryptoid’s through a number of mechanisms. As we see things progress and introduce breeding - a large part of our ensuring a healthy supply is through breeding costs. You see in Axie that breeding costs were very low at the beginning which drove floor prices massively downwards. We want to solve this by making the barriers to breed higher. The key to controlling this will lie between a mixture of breeding costs and the entry price to start playing.

**Matthew Y:**World of Cryptoids aims to eventually have multiple game modes with the next one already in development as “The Kingdom”. This will feature a land gameplay system where there will be “lords” and resource gathering. With that said, in Q4 of 2022 we intend to create a gaming platform to integrate a variety of games with World of Cryptoids. Our team has a long term vision of becoming more of a blockchain gaming launchpad/platform more so than a singular title.
