The most comprehensive guide to getting Airdrop through Eigen Layer and Scroll with OpenBlock Wallet

If you are devoted to the crypto industry like you claimed you are, then this year you must participate in several "Airdrop programs". It's not about how much money you can make but rather about keeping up with the development of the industry, being at the forefront of the trend, and preventing yourself from being left behind in this rapidly developing industry. The airdrop hunting in 2023 is similar to the ICO (Initial Coin Offering) in 2017, where everyone was involved in speculation and participation. There are many complex reasons behind it, but you must join up. Even if you don't want to, I'm here to make you!

Let's take a look at a few big airdrop projects:

  • zhSync, Starknet, and Scroll are all large projects in the Ethereum scaling ecosystem, with strong legitimacy and practical problem-solving capabilities. Each has a significant amount of funding and venture capital endorsements, so you can't miss them.

  • Eigen Layer provides Ethereum re-staking services, with funding of nearly $65 million and a valuation of $500 million, with top-tier investment institutions such as Bixin Ventures, Coinbase, and Polychain. It just went live for testing on April 7th. The LSD track related to Ethereum staking has been in the spotlight in the past six months, and staking is also a necessary path for Ethereum since the merge in September of last year. So, you must be part of it.

Of course, in addition to the projects listed above, there are many other projects worth participating in, such as Sui, Sei, CyberConnect, Linea, and so on. We will publish related tutorials on all of them. Our main goal is to make it easy and convenient for you to participate in these projects with the least amount of cost and to meet the project's needs by considering what users they actually want to incentivize.

Without further ado, this tutorial is a striking combination, a set of steps that can enable you to interact with the core functions of three projects. Let's get started with Scroll:

Scroll: Faucet and Cross-chain Bridge

1、Currently, the most reliable and fastest way to get test tokens is through the OpenBlock wallet (https://openblock.com). You can directly receive 0.1 ETH in the Scroll test network, with a 100% success rate and fast speed. You can claim it once a week. After registering with your email and opening the Scroll test network, click "Claim ETH" to proceed

2、Add the OpenBlock plugin, and in the following steps, click on the Metamask icon for any wallet connecting steps, which will automatically connect to the OpenBlock wallet

Next, we will use the Scroll cross-chain bridge (https://scroll.io/alpha/bridge) to move the tokens we have received to the Ethereum testnet.

Note: It's best only to transfer 0.09 ETH to the Goerli testnet and set 0.005-0.01 ETH as the transaction fee, because the testnet can be congested, and if the gas fee is too low, this may fail.

Eigen Layer:Claim and stake stETH

3、Use OpenBlock to send gETH to stETH's contract address(0x1643E812aE58766192Cf7D2Cf9567dF2C37e9B7F), and change the gas limit to 120000

4、In the wallet of the Goerli Ethereum Testnet, click to enter the EigenLayer Dapp page, and then click on Lido Staked EtherEnter the amount that you would like to stake, click on NEXT, and you can check your staked amount on the homepage

Enter the amount that you would like to stake, click on NEXT, and you can check your staked amount on the homepage

If the staking process fails, you can click on Speed Up in the transaction history record to try again.

Receive and stake rETH

Visit the Rocket Pool testnet.rocketpool.net page, connect your wallet (click on Metamask to redirect to the OpenBlock wallet) and enter the amount, then click Stake. After stake successfully, click to add rETH to your wallet.

If the following notification pops up, it means that the staking pool is full. You need to wait for funds to be withdrawn from the pool before adding funds for staking.

Go back to the EigenLayer Dapp page in the OpenBlock wallet, click on rETH, enter the amount, and click on Next

After staked successfully, you can check your staked amount on the homepage
