TurboTax claims it work. But it is NOT.
TurboTax gives the option to upload the Coinbase CSV but "Validation Failed" every time!
This is very frustrating. TurboTax gives the option to upload the Coinbase CSV, but TurboTax will not accept the Coinbase CSV format! It sounds like a bit of false advertising of their partnership when it comes to the real compatibility.
Here is how I make it work for free in 2022:
Get CVS file from Coinbase

Import CVS file into taxbit
https://app.taxbit.com/add-transactions/csv
Download TXF files
From TaxBit, download IRS 8949 from Taxes, select TXF format
Import txf file
Unpack the downloaded zip file, and import txf file into TurboTax
- Open (continue) your return in TurboTax
- From the TurboTax File menu in the upper-left corner, select "Import" followed by "From Accounting Software"(Windows) or "From TXF Files" (Mac)
- Follow the instructions
- If things go smoothly, you will see them under Import Summary
