3.1 Find your way with The Quantum Approach to Achieving Success

Summary

Have you ever heard of a quantum field? It's a concept in quantum mechanics that describes the behavior of particles at the subatomic level, and it's based on the principles of quantum mechanics. But here's the really interesting part: it's a way of thinking about particles as being spread out over space, rather than existing at specific points in space. This might sound a bit abstract, but it has some pretty cool implications.

For example, have you ever heard of quantum entanglement? It's a phenomenon in which particles can be inextricably linked, or "entangled," even if they are separated by vast distances or time. This might sound like something out of a science fiction movie, but it's been confirmed experimentally and is at the heart of many interesting and important applications of quantum science, like quantum computing and quantum cryptography.

So what does all of this have to do with the present moment? Well, it's all about balance. When we're thinking about the future, it's easy to get caught up in all of the infinite possibilities that quantum mechanics allows for. But here's the thing: we only have the present moment to act. As the famous quote goes, "winners act like winners before they are winners." In other words, it's important to focus on the present and act in a way that aligns with our desired future outcomes.

But it's not just about setting goals and making a to-do list. While those things can be helpful, they can also drain our energy and mental bandwidth if we're not careful. That's where the rest and digest system comes in. It's important to balance out our focus on the future with some rest and relaxation in the present. This will help us avoid burnout and stay focused on what really matters.

So the next time you're thinking about your future, try shifting your focus to your present feelings and values. What do you want to feel in the future? How can you bring those feelings into the present moment? By connecting with our desired future outcomes on a deeper level, we can create a stronger link between the present and the future and be more effective in achieving our goals.

You can create your own reality by feeling the future while being flexible enough to not want it.

How is that for a superpower?

1. Introducing the quantum field

A quantum field is a mathematical concept in quantum mechanics that describes the behavior of particles at the subatomic level. It is a way of thinking about particles as being spread out over space, rather than existing at specific points in space.

To understand how this works, it's helpful to first understand a concept called superposition. In quantum mechanics, particles can exist in multiple states at once. So, for example, an electron could be both spinning up and spinning down at the same time. When two particles become entangled, their states become linked, so if one particle is observed to be in a certain state, the other particle will also be in that state, no matter how far apart they are.

The idea of a quantum field is based on the principles of quantum mechanics, which describe how particles can exist in multiple states at once and can be inextricably linked, even if they are separated by vast distances…but…

…also seperated by time?

Yes, the principles of quantum mechanics also describe how particles can be inextricably linked, or "entangled," even if they are separated by time. This phenomenon, known as quantum entanglement, is one of the most mysterious and fascinating aspects of quantum mechanics. It has been confirmed experimentally and is at the heart of many interesting and important applications of quantum science, such as quantum computing and quantum cryptography. The Nobel prize in physics in 2022 went to researchers who explored the realm of entanglement. An exciting era awaits us!

Flashcard: Q: What is quantum entanglement?

A: Quantum entanglement is a phenomenon in which particles can be inextricably linked, or "entangled," even if they are separated by vast distances or time. This phenomenon is one of the most mysterious and fascinating aspects of quantum mechanics and has been confirmed experimentally.

2. How to apply this?

It's important to note that quantum entanglement is a phenomenon that occurs at the subatomic level and is not something that can be directly applied to everyday life. However, the principles of quantum mechanics and the concept of superposition can potentially be applied in a metaphorical sense to help us make choices and navigate the uncertainty of the future.

Perhaps lost you there. In different words: one way to think about this is by considering the multiple possible states or outcomes that a situation might have. Rather than fixating on one single outcome, we can try to hold multiple possibilities in our minds at once and consider how they might unfold. Like when you’re about to shoot the winning penalty at the world championship finale: if you score, you win and a miss = loss. Multiple futures are possible. This mindset of multiple outcomes can help us stay open to new opportunities and be more adaptable in the face of change.

It's also important to remember that, while we can't control the outcome of a situation, because often many external factors are involved, we can certainly program ourselves to give it our all. And equally important: how we respond to the outcome. By focusing on our values and what we want to feel in the future, we can make choices that align with our goals and move us closer to the future we envision for ourselves. If you want to score the winning penalty, you better start practicing your skills and cool mindset.

Ultimately, the principles of quantum mechanics can serve as a reminder that the future is not fixed and that there are many possible paths we can take. By staying open to new possibilities and focusing on what matters most to us, we can make choices that help us create the future we want.

Let me explain this, together with Marvel’s doctor Strange as this is vital but perhaps complicated. The FUTURE has infinite possibilities, with which you can connect (= Quantum science and entanglement). BUT you only have your PRESENT to act and move according to the laws of NOW (= Newtonian science). The power to form your future therefore lies in now.

In simpler words: you can bridge the future and now by ‘feeling your future in your heart’. An example of this concept: “Winners act like winners before they are winners.” - Bill Walsh

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Strange is a character who is a master of the mystic arts and uses the principles of quantum mechanics to bend current reality to his will. He is able to access alternate dimensions and manipulate time and space, and he often uses these abilities to protect the world from threats that would be beyond the capabilities of more conventional heroes.

While it's important to note that Doctor Strange is a fictional character and the abilities he possesses are not based on real-world science, there are some metaphorical similarities between his use of quantum mechanics and the way that we might apply the principles of quantum mechanics in our own lives.

For example, Doctor Strange is able to see multiple possible outcomes for a given situation and choose the one that he believes will have the best outcome. This is similar to the idea of holding multiple possibilities in our minds at once and considering how they might unfold, as mentioned earlier. Doctor Strange is also able to remain flexible and adaptable in the face of change, which is an important trait to cultivate in our own lives as well.

Ultimately, the character of Doctor Strange serves as a reminder that we have the power to shape our own reality and create the future we want, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges. While we may not have the ability to bend time and space like Doctor Strange, we can still strive to be more adaptable and open to new possibilities in our own lives.

But how do you know which route to pick, if you can’t oversee all the possible outcomes?

  1. Stay close: small simple steps in NOW. Don’t get lost too far in the future, as you are not qualified enough to predict all the external variables in play.

  2. Stay close: stick to your core values in the present. Be adventurous, kind, generous, or whatever core value you selected in our previous chapters.

  3. Stay close: envision your future. Not in mind, but in heart. Not ‘becoming world champing (mind)’, but feel the feeling of ‘how it feels if you score the goal and become world-champion’

  4. Stay close: stay close to your current capabilities and belief systems. You have to truly believe you are capable to realize this outcome. If you have never seen a ball, you might not be the best candidate for the final penalty. Note: you can reframe your belief systems, but that requires time and effort.

Therefore: you need to flow in the present (feel) and anticipate possible futures (think). Flow and force, check out next chapter.

3. Feel (flow) vs. Think (force)

The future often seems unpredictable and full of options, but trying to bring it into the present can be disruptive and drain energy. What’s happening is that your mind often tries to exert control through your limbic system, which is responsible for your hunting and danger responses. While these responses can be helpful in the short term, relying on them too much can lead to burnout due to draining too much.

There is an alternative approach that can help you stay balanced and connected to your future. Instead of trying to control the future through your thoughts and actions, try focusing on how you want to feel in the future.

This approach, known as the quantum model, involves letting your heart lead instead of your mind. By connecting with future feelings like joy, peace, and freedom, you can bring those feelings into your present and let them guide your actions. This approach can be more powerful than setting goals and making to-do lists, and it can actually be scientifically measured nowadays.

While it's still important to use your mind and its benefits like agendas and goals, the quantum model suggests that your heart should be the leader, guiding you towards your future. If you truly believe in your heart that you will be the next CEO of Google, your mental belief systems will adjust and you will behave in the present as if you already are the CEO. Your entire being will shift to align with this belief, and you will naturally make different choices, learn new things, and interact with different people. Winners act like winners before they win. By radiating this mission in your present being, you will have a stronger influence on your environment than if you simply set goals and took steps towards that outcome.

It's important to really feel this possible future for yourself and believe in it at your core. While it may be difficult to imagine being the CEO of Google, you can train yourself to feel this way by focusing on your core values and letting them guide your actions in the present. And by reshaping your belief systems helps you feeling your future rather than forcing it allows you to flow with your energy and be more authentic.

Q: Why is it important to focus on the present moment?

A: It's important to focus on the present moment because it's the only time we have to act. By focusing on the present and acting in a way that aligns with our desired future outcomes, we can be more effective in achieving our goals.

4 Dr. JOE DISPENZA

The Quantum Field Theory is explained here "Dr. Joe Dispenza explains Quantum Theory (Quantum Field) is a branch of physics that depicts the behavior of constantly fluctuating energy fields in the form of waves at the origin of everything in the known universe. Each such variation and combination produces a different universe from the same vacuum field fluctuation. Dr. Joe Dispenza explains that according to quantum physics, your mind and matter are so intimately connected that it's impossible to separate the two. So if you're viewing your life from the same level of mind every day, you are collapsing the same possibilities into the same reality…."

PART 1 Feel your future in 'now', but accept you can't force the outcome

Dispenza sees surrender as crucial in the creative process. Surrender = accepting that you can’t influence the outcome, only your own behavior and how you accept the outcome. 'If you really surrender, then you really have faith'. And if you have absolute faith, then you understand that there is a field of consciousness, a quantum field, that responds to who you are. Common example: believing you will one day be a multi-millionair, while also accepting the fact that you might not become a multi-millionair, are you best chances of become a multi-millionaire. It starts with fully believing it, and not so much the target of reaching 5 mln $, but envisioning yourself and your feelings if you have 5 mln $ while simultaneously fully accepting you will be fine when you lose it all with one snap of a finger. You are grateful for being (= feeling xxx or yyy), not so much for being a millionaire (that’s secondary to the feeling, less relevant / there are other ways of feeling xxx or yyy and you belief universe will set you up to feel that way).

So don't just rely on what you think. No, rely on your entire vibrational level, your entire consciousness, your entire core being. That 'intelligence' listens carefully to you and precisely creates things that match how you think and feel. Surrendering to that intelligence means you can immediately enter a heightened mood, in a state of gratitude, without anything changing in your physical world. It means you are going through a shift in energy and lifting yourself up to the feeling that there is something much bigger than you handling the details.

As mentioned: this shift in energy can be measured. I personally like these examples: There is a lot of research on the topic of energy shifts and the connection to our state of being. One notable researcher in this field is Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese researcher and author who studied the effects of human thoughts and emotions on the molecular structure of water. He conducted experiments where he froze water after exposing it to different words, music, and images, and then examined the crystals formed under a microscope. He found that the water crystals formed beautiful, symmetrical patterns when exposed to positive words and images, but formed disordered and chaotic patterns when exposed to negative words and images. Dr. Emoto's work suggests that our thoughts and emotions can have a direct impact on the physical world and has been widely discussed in the field of energy healing.

Another researcher in this field is Dr. Bruce Lipton, a cell biologist and author who has studied the connection between the mind and the body. Dr. Lipton's research focuses on the way our beliefs and perceptions can affect our biology and has shown that our thoughts and emotions can directly influence the activity of our cells. He is well-known for his book "The Biology of Belief," which explores the connection between our beliefs and our biology and the implications for health and healing.

Both Dr. Emoto and Dr. Lipton's work suggests that our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs have a direct impact on our physical reality and can be used to shift our energy and improve our overall well-being.

Mentally hard to grasp: how to do this?

This is difficult for our analytical mind to understand. How to connect with a feeling that belongs to a particular experience that has not yet happened in reality. This means: you don't connect with the image but connect with the feeling you have when you experience that image. You have to fall in love with how you might feel before you have proof that this will happen. That is surrender. It is living as if all your prayers have been answered. You don't just create with your mind; you create with your whole consciousness.

You must first be in a place of total trust in yourself before what you envision can happen. This means that you are connected to the outcome of your wish but not concerned with steering that outcome. You trust your being being guided to that outcome by forces of nature. This is very important to understand when it comes to creation, but often very difficult to understand for people who really want to change something in their life. You must be able to completely, unconditionally let go of something you would most like to have before you get it. The essence of the quantum model is that no outcome can be predicted.

With the Newtonian model, setting goals and work towards that goals, you make outcomes calculable and predictable. And here the ego wants to interfere: control and control the creation process, and influence its outcome. Your ego takes over the wheel, blocking the higher intelligence. That is the point where we stop the flow. The heavy load, the pressure, and the need to get something done are gone. And when the need is gone, there is freedom, and miracles can happen. Where there is a need for control, there is no freedom, and where there is no freedom, nothing can flow.

In other words: PART 2 Feel your future in 'now', but accept you can't force the outcome

  1. In quantum physics, your mind and matter are one and influence each other heavily. You cannot see them separately, like yin and yang. Or like a couple dancing the tango.

  2. The less matter (body, identity, money, etc.) means the more mind (conscious thoughts, just 'be'). Thoughts are not matter; they are neither material nor mental constructs like 'identity'. So matter (particles: physical objects and mental constructs) and conscious thoughts (waves: energy) are dancing the tango. How to recognize a mental construct: would an alien (or monkey or a 1-year-old) understand it? Time, heaven, language, identity, digital money, religion, ego, I. They don't understand it? Then it is a mental construct and therefore matter. Another, perhaps not correct way, to see matter: matter gathers energy in physical places (car, house) or in mind (ego, identity). Conscious thoughts send/creates energy (waves).

  3. So it is a dance between energy creation (conscious thoughts) and energy gatherers (matter) or, in a more negative connotation, energy blockers/drainers. As matter dissolves, the energy starts flowing more freely. The consciousness is taking the lead in the dance, and the reach of your energy /the dance increases. If matter dissolves, deconstructing physical and mental energy drainers allows your energy to flow more abundantly. In other words: Mind over Matter. This is 'mind over matter'. Less' me', 'identity', 'I', 'material objects', 'desires and dreams'. Your consciousness creates a quantum field. The less matter, the more energized your quantum field.

  4. This dance always happens in the present moment of NOW. Your conscious mind and matter, while dancing, is influencing your surroundings NOW. Not tomorrow, not yesterday. Your thoughts are influencing this very moment. Your mind & matter dance influences your surroundings with the energy recreating the matter it touches (the dance influences the environment). If you feel stressed, your body and your environment respond (other people will be influenced). Examples matter from the previous sentence: 'you', 'stressed', 'your', 'body', and the sentence itself. Examples of conscious thoughts: 'feel'.

  5. Because this dance between matter and mind is happening now, and you can influence your behavior and thoughts, you make the outcome more predictable in this NOW. For example, people will look awkward at me if I start screaming because I am stressed. If I meditate, I will feel less stressed. This more predictable outcome in the NOW, based on your actions in the NOW, abides by the laws of nature. This is known as Newtonian physics. There are limits to the reach of your actions in the NOW. You are limited.

  6. But…

  7. We mix in the future into the now and migrate from 'conscious thoughts' to 'quantum field'. So:

conscious thoughts (NOW) + future component X (NOW) = ‘quantum field’ (NOW).

Even if you remove all matter, you are still limited by natural laws in the now. But… if you add future component X, you might become limitless in the now.

  8. As you are dancing in the now, radiating waves from your conscious thoughts without matter, you have a wide range of influence (as energy is less blocked by matter). But where do you dance, and why do you dance? You dance towards a future feeling. So future component X = future feeling. So conscious thoughts (you have NOW) + future feeling X (which you feel NOW) = 'quantum field' (you create now).

  9. Let me explain this future feeling. Only a future feeling, felt NOW, can bridge the concept of time without introducing mental constructions. You FEEL the future in your conscious thoughts by envisioning it. I will clarify this in the next point, but I will give a bit more background on why only feelings can transfer from the future to now. You do not want more matter from the future. So you cannot think in concepts nor envision an image, as both would introduce matter (thinking and images are matter, they cost energy). So goals, the concept 'I', material desires, and ego-related things can not be bridged from the future to the now. A house, car, and goal are no-go's in the quantum realm of now as they introduce matter in the now. Of course, you can, like planning, setting goals, and making appointments, but those are all material constructs from ego I (= force). As you are nothing (and everything) in full quantum modus, you will have no identity, cars, houses, body, desires, etc. Therefore an image is hard to connect because it contains matter. A feeling, however, does not pose that problem. A feeling is a wave of energy (creating matter). So future FEELS can be formed in present THOUGHTS, in the quantum field of NOW.

5. How to put mind over matter

  1. Let me give an example. Imagine you are dancing the tango, mind & matter existing alongside each other. But you are naked and freezing your ass off.

    1. You feel cold. You (matter) feel (mind) cold (matter).

    2. You want hot cocoa, because you want to feel warm! You (matter) want (matter) hot (matter) cocoa (matter) because you (matter) want (matter) to feel (mind) warm (matter). Note: a lot of matter!

    3. Let's bring the future to now. Attempt 1: imagine the image of hot cocoa. Imagine (matter), image (matter) hot (matter) cocoa (matter). Adding even more matter to your now. Attempt perhaps work, but it is more matter costing energy waves. Attempt 1 costs energy.

    4. Let's bring the future to now. Attempt 2: feel the warmth from the hot cocoa. Feel (mind), hot (matter) cocoa (matter). Attempt 2 is better. Feeling creates more mind, creating more energy instead of consuming energy.

    5. Let's bring the future to now. Attempt 3: feel the future. Feel (mind), future (matter).

    6. Let's bring the future to now. Attempt 4: feel. You are there. You have brought the future feeling to your now, unleashing the full power of that feeling to change now. You don't even care anymore if you get that hot cocoa. You (matter) have fully let go of your desire (matter). There is no you; there is only energy.

    7. This is 'mind over matter', 'enlightenment', 'quantum field', 'Wim Hof', hocus pocus magic. But science is catching up and supporting the existence of this quantum field. So the entire vibrational level, your entire consciousness, and the energy shift can be measured.

    8. You fully ACCEPT the NOW and bridged feelings from the future to now. You accept that nothing in the future is inevitable, nor do you care. But the NOW, your surrounding, will heavily be influenced by your energy. Eventually, you get your cocoa (other tango dancers or obstacles will go out of the way for the full force of energy heading towards the future feeling of hot cocoa).

    9. Yes, you might have planned your way towards cocoa via a 55-step-by-step plan, made lean and agile. But this is known as 'forcing' and swimming against the river. Entering the quantum field is swimming with the tide. Shut down the head, feel. Use the head to serve you: 'feel from the heart, but bring your mind'. Aligning 'your' entire vibrational level, your entire consciousness is aligning the 'intelligence' that listens very carefully to you. She creates precisely the things that match how you think and feel. Swim with the river, not force against it. You surrender to this consciousness and the universe where she came from, trust the river, and fully trust that she will bring you there. Or not, but you won't care because you don't need the cocoa. The universe will provide the feeling in some other way, the matter is not relevant, nor don't you need as you are already warm from energy).

  2. This is called quantum physics, the realm of infinite possibilities. There are no limits if you flow with the energy that is keeping this cosmos together. You deconstruct 'you' in exchange for radiating energy. Scary as hell, right? This is why this is known as surrender. Only after complete surrender comes total victory.

  3. Read part I again. Do you make sense of the wording? "Quantum Theory (Quantum Field) is a branch of physics that depicts the behavior of constantly fluctuating energy fields in the form of waves at the origin of everything in the known universe".

  4. In short: we are all creating energy waves, continuously changing the universe around us. Welcome to the great dance of life. “So if you're viewing your life from the same level of mind every day, you are collapsing the same possibilities into the same reality…."

  5. You can create your own reality by feeling the future while not wanting it. How is that for a superpower?

6. Start close in

So now what?

Simple: keep things simple and act small.

Act along your core values and skills. Envision the desired outcome (based on your direction). In this dance of life, you should be in the present as much as possible. This means making small simple steps. Only you know your next step, it is the one at the edge of your comfort zone. The one you don’t want to take. Take it. And then another, and another.

Some guidance by a poem from David Whyte - start close in

Start close in, don’t take the second step or the third, start with the first thing close in, the step you don’t want to take.

Start with the ground you know, the pale ground beneath your feet, your own way of starting the conversation.

Start with your own question, give up on other people’s questions, don’t let them smother something simple.

To find another’s voice, follow your own voice, wait until that voice becomes a private ear listening to another.

Start right now take a small step you can call your own don’t follow someone else’s heroics, be humble and focused, start close in, don’t mistake that other for your own.

Start close in, don’t take the second step or the third, start with the first thing close in, the step you don’t want to take.
