WIP: This is a starting outline, with some details; though this roadmap will continue to be updated.

Admittedly, the DFLDAO is small.

All said and done, there are less that a dozen projects within the lab.

Though I like to think of it more like Super Mario World map …

Except that every stop is like tube funneling you to another world.

And so I’m choosing to call these initial DFLDAO NFTs, NFTports, pronounced nifty-ports; I’m a dork, I’m sorry …

NFTport Mintings

To start, there will be a total of 45 possible NFTports available for mint over four rounds. Each mint will be priced at a projected price of Solana, starting at 8 SOL, which prices Solana at approximately $125USDC. This equals approximately $1000USDC in total; and this number meets my personal financial contribution to this work half way.

I bought into Solana at $210 and held on, because it’s like I tell folks, “only put in money that you’re willing and able to burn.” I also believe in the ecosystem.

The goal is not to raise money, that is both a by-product and requisite demonstration of commitment to the work.

The Initial Fifteen

These initial holders will be my first advisors, the first to be given personalized tours of the lab space; asked for initial comments and critiques. You will also help me discern how best to move forward with the future mints.

This initial round is meant to provide the necessary funds to secure larger sums of crypto correctly; and provide improved proximity to a more experienced community.

The Subsequent Rounds

Mints 2-4 will provide a NFTport with the DFLDAO stamp, along with one other stamp representing either idioke, Rebel Coding or Manifesting Empathy.

Only in the short-term will this matter, as each holder will be obliged to provide feedback only on their specific domain; until all of the NFTports are sold. At that time all NFTport holders will receive a NFTport with all four stamps.

NFTPort Perks

The initial currency of the lab is $CANIN, recently minted SPL-token. Each NFTport holder will be airdropped 1000 CANIN upon completion of all four mints.

The breakthrough use of $CANIN will be to purchase NFTs of real world items, which will then be shipped to you directly. These NFTs will be made available during planned, and celebrated auctions. The proceeds of which will be returned to the original creators of the products sold.

(Shipments are estimated to be done twice per year.)

Additionally, we have animators within our community, and plans for deploying copies of these NFTs as digital wearables as well. Continuing to funnel proceeds to originating artists and their communities.

$CANIN will also enable individual to participate in idioke’s pilot project take-off, as the first part of a two-sided marketplace for learners and knowledge providers. There will be a small charge for wanting to know something, along with a few small tasks. If someone who can provide the knowledge you seek completes your request, you both get paid; provided all material pass the standards assessment.

Moving ahead, $CANIN will also enable access to the initial Rebel Coding classes and coaching sessions. The currency will be exclusive to the R&D of projects as they grow; $CANIN will provide access to the initial alpha-rounds of innovation.

Reselling NFTports

As stated, if all of the NFTports sell-out; then each holder will be sent a complete NFTport with four stamps. Their first NFTport can be resold … though we encourage folks to hold on to it.

Then, when the time is right, to gift the NFTport. Depending on the recipient, certain additional benefits, stamps, or perks may be added to both the benefactor, and beneficent, of the NFTport for participating in this way.

The Financialization of It All!

DFLDAO operates as the communal embodiment of a solely owned LLC.

I could rug y’all, but this is the best chance I think I have to realize my dreams, and see my child … so, that’s what’s on the line for me at days end.

While the tax situation of all this stuff is still in the air … running this as an LLC is the best starting option. Together we will focus on growing the assets in-house, and programs of which they are a part.

These initial mints will raise approximately $45,000 USD equivalent; a small sum in the grand scheme of things. Though when utilized in the Global South, this amount is able to go much further; and so we’ll see if we can actually make that number grow.

What we do upon such a success, again, we’ll decide as a collective; though first I ask you all to enable me to better do the work that will get us there.

Living Expenses

These are actually paid for by the English classes that I teach. This is both sustainable, and doesn’t eat up too much of my time. I think of it as being paid to do market research for idioke, tbh.

This also means that none of the funds raised need to be immediately allocated to living expenses; all of it will be reinvested directly back into furthering the work.

Initial Expenses

The following prices will be given in-terms of $CANIN … Essentially 45,000 are begin backed through these initial mints, we’ll call it bCANIN.

5,000 bCANIN to purchase the first 1,500 pieces of content for idioke. 5,000 bCANIN to acquire & ship items for auction & overall admin 5,000 bCANIN to upgrade current tech for self & admin 5,000 bCANIN for Rebel Coding contributions. 20,000 bCANIN in total

This leaves 25,500 bCANIN, 15,000 of which I initially propose be put into long-term staking positions. The remaining 10,000 to be placed into more accessible positions.

Gifting Your NFTport

Once we’ve got all engines up and running, I’d request you to gift your NFTport to individuals who might not otherwise have the opportunity to engage with us at such a seedling state.

If all NFTports are gifted, we will be a collective seventy-five holders strong; twenty-five holders shy of one-hundred. So what to do about these last twenty-five spots ?
