Protocol 📰

Aave’s risk managers were quick to act in response to the USDC depeg over the weekend: at the time of writing USDC, USDT, DAI, FRAX, and MAI on Aave v3 Avalanche were frozen and the LTV was set to 0. There has been continued discussion over whether or not to pause others but no other action has been taken and USDC is heading towards regaining it’s peg. Shout out to grantee Risk DAO for allowing anyone to monitor the situation as it was unfolding.

Both governance proposals for the long awaited Rescue Mission of tokens locked on Aave has passed - the second part (AIP 166) can be executed in 4 days 🎉
Aave Companies shared a recommendation for the GHO Genesis parameters for the community to discuss 👻
To help try and clarify some of the governance processes, Stablenode shared a proposal to streamline the current process.
Aave v3 was deployed on the Sepolia Testnet.

Chaos Labs shared a new GHO Risk Monitoring Dashboard including an overview of collateral, usage, and GHO generated by facilitators.
Llama hosted a Space overviewing their fifth month of work since their agreement - see a full recap of what they have been up to in their governance post.
Butter is building decentralized governance systems for DAOs, and is looking for active and prospective delegates and tokenholders to participate in a pilot with Aave DAO. The successful delegate will be awarded $15k after 3 months of contributing to Aave governance—applications are now open.
