Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon is accused of having political ties to Montenegro's former finance minister and chairman of the political organization Europe Now, Milojko Spajić.

Montenegrin Prime Minister Dritan Abazović was given a handwritten letter from Do Kwon saying he funded Europe Now, the report said. Do Kwon and Milojko Spajić have known each other since 2018. The letter has been handed over to the prosecutor's office, with Dritan Abazović calling for an investigation into the relationship between the two men. But Milojko Spajić has denied the allegations against him.

Prior to the news on June 2, the Montenegro Basic Court approved Do Kwon's bail request for the second time, and prosecutors have appealed the decision.
