The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has agreed to return hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations it received from FTX. Court documents filed Friday show the Met will eventually return $550,000 if the deal it struck with FTX debtors is approved. A motion says the Met wants the donation returned to FTX debtors, saying it was the result of "good faith and fair negotiations" between the two parties. These donations were provided by West Realm Shires Services, which operates FTX US. West Realm Shires Services initially donated $300,000 to the Met last March and another $250,000 in May, according to court documents. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is the largest art museum in the United States with a collection of 3 million exhibits.
