What is coto?

coto is a social community app exclusively for women that allows them to create their own online public and/or private community, enage in meaningful conversations through Q&As, share multi-format content (video, audio, image and text), engage in participative ownership through referrals and interact freely with other women.

The communities can be discovered easily and can be joined by members to network, discuss various topics that interest them, and learn from each other with privacy, security and ownership!

Feature #1 Onboarding

Where it all begins!

Listen, we’ve all been there. Signing up for a new app is a task. There are so many steps, and very often too much of your information is required — which is both tedious to put down, and worrying in terms of privacy.

We’ve taken it upon ourselves to make your sign-up process as easy and convenient as possible, with just 4 simple steps.

Step 1: Choose your gender

(Since we are a women-only app, we want to make sure that you are / identify as a woman )

Step 2: Sign in / Sign up using your authorized phone number or email address

(You can pick any one of these! And no, we won’t spam you)

Step 3: Facial Recognition for gender identification

(This is to ensure the utmost safety for all women. Your safety=our priority)

(Also, don’t worry, in case it does not go through for some reason (very low chance), you can share your Aadhar card details to enter)

Step 4: You are in, set up your profile

After you sign up, you will be guided towards Creating a Community!

This is where all the magic starts. You can create and join communities based on your interest, instead of having an algorithm constantly bug you with unwanted content!

A variety of topics can be discussed on coto including health, finance, beauty, self-care, mental health, movies, travel, parenting, and more.
