Introduction
I have started researching and testing out various web3/decentralized social media alternatives. My previous post goes intro more detail about some of the advantages over web2/centralized platforms like twitter, facebook etc. I also talked about some of the different blockchains, and which ones may be well suited to this type of dapp.
Before I go into a lot of evaluation and detail I thought that I would categorize them to get an idea of what I was dealing with. Some of the projects started off with primitives or platforms to plug into for sharing data and working together. For example, all the Deso apps share the same login, use the same data etc. Lens is a decentralized social graph which is available to all integrated apps etc. They are all in different stages of readiness for usage and evaluation.

Conclusion
Which ones should I evaluate first? The socialfi project which seems to be the furthest ahead at this point seems to be Deso. In the mean time, let me know if I am missing any — particularly if they are live or in beta testing stages. I can add them to the list for evaluation.
