What does CyberConnect bring to the decentralized social graph?

Why do we need a decentralized social graph?

First we need to know what is "social graph"? It was first introduced by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a speech on April 22, 2010, when he introduced the concept of Open Graph - a map that connects people to different things, a kind of network graph that says It is a network graph that says "I know you".

It reflects who users know through various means: family members, work colleagues, friends from meetings, high school classmates, club members, friends of friends, and so on. Social graphs are mainly generated by mainstream social networks, such as Facebook or LinkedIn, where users send invitations to people they know to build and maintain their social relationships.

Some people find it convenient because the phone is used less and less, maybe it helps you find friends you haven't contacted for a long time, and some people think it's not private because my works, my browsing history don't want to be known by my friends in my life. Today we are exploring the principle behind the association: because of big data, all web2 media are collecting all kinds of data from users and profiting from it. So do you think it's fair for us, as users? Do we have the right to decide which data can be made public, and in what way, and what I can get out of it?

Web3 maybe can give us the answer:

Web3 refers to a potential new iteration of the Internet running on a public blockchain, a technology of record known for facilitating cryptocurrency transactions. web3 is attractive because it is decentralized, so instead of users accessing the Internet through intermediary services like Google, Apple, or Facebook, they own and control the various parts of the Internet themselves.

web3 does not require "permission," meaning that central authorities do not dictate who uses what services, nor does it require "trust," meaning that intermediaries do not need to facilitate virtual transactions between two or more parties. web3 also theoretically better protects user privacy because no large companies are doing the data collection.

It's not going to be argued that 2022 is the year of web3, but there is a fact that web3 protocols are springing up, and we hope that some of them will give birth to some truly era-changing products.

CyberConnect is a web3 social graph protocol whose main function is to create decentralized social graphs for web 3.0 social networks and metaverse. The social graph module consists of two parts: a follow button and a list of followers & followers. Any web 3 application with a follow feature can easily integrate with CyberConnect and no longer need to worry about maintaining their own social graph database.

Social graph data store of CyberConnect is built using IPFS and Ceramic, and the CyberConnect gateway provides a common data layer for DApps to start inserting social elements for its users. With CyberConnect, ownership of the social graph is returned to the user.

The main features currently available are: follow and recommendation lists, web2 media association, Dapp display, CyberChat (chat), Link3. You can be more autonomous in choosing which ones to associate with and which ones to open up.

In the current all web3 social protocols inside, should be the most competitive, also received a seed round of $ 10 million, $ 15 million Series A funding, look forward to its better future.
