Backstories: The story goes that the CrypToadz used to live happily in a land known as Uniswamp, until one day the evil king Gremplin descended upon the kingdom.Gremplin then enslaved all the CrypToadz and renamed the kingdom, Grempland.With his army of Fronkz, Gremplin quickly stole power and captured all remaining CrypToadz.

Your goal was to mint as many CrypToadz as possible, freeing them, from Gremplin’s evil grips.

The Team

Gremplin made custom Toadz for the project’s team too, which is pretty star-studded. The artist has a team of eight behind him and many members are CryptoPunk holders.The cryptoadz project team — each depicted as a toad.

BN89 has messy hair and cool square sunglasses.

CAT is there made of white parallel lines on a black background.

CHANZERO is a simple toad with a red hat as an only ensemble.

DINFO is with brown face and square glasses.

EMMY is adorned with pigtails.

HEEEEE has his skull taken off and his brain exposed.

MOTIVATEME is the cute blue one with a brown hat.

SUM1 is the mysterious one with a top hat.

Gremplin was able to capture the hearts of the original investors in the sector by injecting the project with tons of crypto and NFT references. For example, CrypToadz are small amphibious creatures that roam the swampy basin of Uniswamp, which is a reference to the Uniswap Exchange. The CrypToadz have seen similar “herd mentality” like Punks, with a number of well-branded figures in the space changing their avatars, profile pictures, and backdrops to Toadz.
