Efforts on #[[web3 tools for thoughts]] #[[collective intelligence]] #[[mind mapping]]...

There are incredible amount of talented people concerning about the open ideas (related to efforts on #[[web3 tft]] #[[collective intelligence]] #[[mind mapping]] and more). Here are some i classified from Kernel since i joined KB5🌱:

portal built by Matthew

[[Portal]] is the public knowledge graph for internet organizations (pretty like my idea of buidling a web3 angelList, but in molecules), and OS for #[[networked collaboration]]

Block primary is an advantage here. Let's say in Portal, you can see how many blocks an ENS (.eth) wrote for a #project.

Subconscious built by Gordon Brander

[[Subconscious]] is not native web3, but it shows the taste😋. "A network society need tools for networked thoughts", as Gordon Brander wrote in his blog. So far it is developed as a tiny app that carefully help you diverge, converge, and close meaningful cybernetic loops.

Cited from Gordon Brander's blog:

“Network society. Others were asking these questions 20 years ago. Mark C. Taylor’s ‘Moment of Complexity’ opens this way:

While moments of radical transformation can never be defined with precision, the collapse of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989, signaled a decisive shift from an industrial to an information society. With the ostensible triumph of multinational, informational, or digital capitalism, walls, which once seemed secure, become permeable screens that allow diverse flows to become global. What is emerging from the flux of these flows is a new network culture. […] This trajectory suggests that the moment of complexity can be understood in terms of the shift from a world structured by grids to a world organized like networks. […] What, then, is a grid, and what is a network? This question, which generates many more questions, is deceptively simple. We might begin to appreciate its complexity by conducting what Kierkegaard once described as a “thought experiment.”

Meem

The [[meem protocol]] is an open-source smart contract standard for creating digital assets with dynamic property rights.

A “meem” is a non-fungible token (NFT) that has been wrapped by our smart contract with supplemental metadata that govern (1) how each address is permitted to interact with the NFT and its underlying asset, (2) how proceeds are distributed to participants in the event of the NFT’s sale, and (3) how these metadata may be transferred to or changed by future owners of the NFT and its derivatives. The core protocol is organized into three sets of metadata -- Roles, Splits, and Owners.

golden.xyz built by Jude Gomila

golden.xyz is buidling a decentralized knowledge graph protocol backed by all-star investors like [[a16z]] [[Founders Fund]] and [[balaji]], developed from its web2 version——golden.com, a knowledge base that produces, collects and updates knowledge on various topics in a continuous iterative cycle using artificial intelligence.

*golden.com is like a research-wiki which already operated on line for many years(established in 2017 probably), and golden.xyz is its decentralized version.

I usually don’t have special interest in such with a silver spoon, but interestingly some words such as CRSPER catches my eyes in its notion page.So i stayed.

It also reminds me of the article i wrote: building an open knowledge graph via DAOs, tft and NFT. Every page is a knowledge graph on certain research topic/concept/question where a DAO can be formed around it via ENS (CRSPER.eth). Just imagine the ones with specific knowledge (entrepreneurs, researchers, etc) or great curiosity (writers, students) in biology/synthetic biology/DNA whatever could get incentivized and contribute.

That’s very likely happening in open knowledge.
