Hello! My name is Max, I am the Community Manager at Tuning In NFTs.
We are thrilled to announce our official partnership and collaboration with The Listening Room. Our communities’ share a passion for people, for innovation, and for music.
The Listening Room brings much needed authenticity to this space. They are pioneers who are using the blockchain progressively with an emphasis on uniting music creators, education, and creativity. As such, it is a pleasure to combine our efforts while Tuning In.
Their team shares with us a common conviction. We feel that working in the company of other like minded individuals will allow us to energize the mission we seek to accomplish.
By working together, we intend to bring positive change to the music industry and to empower those who are creating music.
In this Mirror post, I will share some information about our individual projects, define the nature of our partnership, and explain how you, as an artist, can get involved.
What is Tuning In NFTs?
Tuning In NFTs is a music discovery platform with a central mission to empower Web3 music creators.
The primary function of their token is a membership to their Global Music Distribution Club. They aim to utilize the Ethereum blockchain as a means to propagate music to their club members; to provide an avenue for independent artists to share their music and connect with their community.
Their vision is to unite sound and visual art creatives, and passionate listeners in an inclusive space where collaboration is encouraged and where music is celebrated.
They are launching in September and will soon be providing their members with exclusive Music NFTs on a monthly basis via airdrop.

What is The Listening Room?
The Listening room is a global collaboration hub that empowers independent musicians, artists & developers to successfully navigate Web3.
Based primarily on the Cardano blockchain, they aim to utilize the untapped market, low gas fees, and encourage accessibility to both experienced and brand new artists entering the space.
They are actively encouraging artists to explore the realms of web3, collaborate with each other, and provide a distribution resource through their Mixtapes.
Their first collaborative mixtape is releasing Wednesday, August 17th with a total of 13 unique artists. You can find more information in their Discord here:
The Collaboration:
Our collaboration is made up of two main components: Providing a twofold artist feature opportunity at both Tuning In NFTs and the Listening Room. Having important conversations relating to the Web3 music industry infrastructure through a monthly collaborative Twitter Space where we will cover relevant topics, such as:
- Navigating Web3 as an Independent Music Artist
- The Importance of Exploring Multiple Communities and Different* Blockchains
- The Ethics of Music and NFTs
For Artists:
As both projects continue to grow, we want to support independent artists by providing them with the opportunity to explore ‘other’ outlets of music distribution on the blockchain.
The Listening Room is offering our featured artists the opportunity to be included on one of their interactive Mixtape NFTs (which will be minted on the Cardano blockchain). With a smaller collection size and affordable mint price, these tokens are accessible to many and extend the horizon of possibility in the Web3 space.
Tuning In NFTs is offering The Listening Room’s artists the opportunity to be featured as a “Spotlight Artist of the Month” (we will be distributing music NFTs to our club members on the Ethereum blockchain). With a larger collection size and our integrated distribution model, these music airdrops will connect artists directly with our club members.
We are both exploring the idea of building artists’ fan bases by sharing their music with people who love to discover.
We aim to provide exposure for artists, merging the gap between Web2 and Web3, by utilizing blockchain technology. Building fan bases within our motivated communities and potentially connecting artists to lifelong fans.
