At about 3 pm today, the fifth session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee opened in Beijing. Bathed in the bright spring light and shouldering the great trust of the Hunan people, the CPPCC members living in Hunan, together with more than 2000 CPPCC members attending the meeting, entered the solemn Great Hall of the people and discussed the country’s affairs.
