Special AMA with Neo from Tokyo - Morokitch

After WebX, one of the biggest crypt event held in Tokyo, ended, we rented out a space in a hotel in Ginza, Tokyo and held a side event called "ReadON Tokyo Meet-up"! Over 30 participants attended, including project founders, game guild members, and early adopters of our platform. Following a reception, we hosted a live AMA with Neo, co-founder of ReadON, to discuss the future of our platform. We talked about ReadON future so we would like to share the contents of that with you.

🔶Question 1 : Trend3

Trend3, which was developed as a B2B tool, will help PJ owners distribute their announcements effectively. I would like to know how Trend3 will evolve in the future. Currently, contents curated on Trend3 can only be viewed through a browser search, which may make it difficult for PJ owners to gather user impressions. To address this issue, will Trend3 be integrated into the ReadON app in the future? Please tell me about the specific plans for Trend3 going forward.

Trend3 is a B2B product for customers, and you might have seen its webpage. On this webpage, you can find a project and all the well-organized content related to it, but that's just a small showcase. In fact, Trend3 is a collection of content services, including content understanding, classification, recommendations, and more. Many platforms integrate our services through APIs, including OKX Wallet, Port3, QuestN and others. Imagine that any dApps need to construct a content scenario, or if a wallet or exchange application wants to add news and social opinions can all use Trend3 for assistance. The more products use Trend3, the more data it accumulates, making it more powerful.
Regarding branding, Trend3 will operate independently but will be connected to ReadON's operations. Content with higher votes will receive more exposure on dApps using Trend3. In the future, ReadON's users will influence the entire Web3 world's content presentation.

🔶Question 2 : Partners

ReadON has partnered with many projects, such as CyberConnect, Arweave, and MantaNetwork, which have added new values to ReadON, such as social functions, creator ownership, and privacy. What new values do you want to incorporate into ReadON in the future?

Our partners are all amazing. Honestly, I've learned a lot from them, not just in terms of professional skills but also in understanding blockchain. Let me give you an example. A year ago, I knew almost nothing about the importance of privacy computing. Through extensive exchanges with Manta, we gradually understood how to use zk technology to protect user privacy. Even though we operate in a decentralized industry, we don't want all browsing records to be transparently stored on the blockchain, right?
As we deepened our understanding, I came to realize that it's not just about privacy protection; it's the fundamental reason why centralized giants gain monopolistic positions. It's because users' data is completely transparently handed over to them, allowing them to build business barriers and gain excessive profits.
Today, we emphasize that ReadON can establish private reading based on zk technology because we believe it will bring entirely different commercial behaviors. Users should have control over their data access and benefit from the monetization of their data; it would be great.
The same kind of thing happens in our collaborations with other parties as well. Web3 is always cool; it allows brilliant ideas to come together. We hope this will also make ReadON more powerful.

🔶Question 3 : Qiuz game

To sustain good relationship with royal users in Japan, a crypto-related quiz game is held every week in ReadON Japanese community, and the winner of the game receives 500 in-app points. I have prepared special 8 quizzes for this meetup. What do you think is an appropriate number of points to award to the top 3 users, today?

🔶Question 4 (for readers of this article) : Topic management

At ReadON, I understand that superior content recommendations can be achieved through a community governance mechanism in addition to algorithms based on AI and machine learning. According to the white paper, governance consists of content voting, as seen in the PICK feature, content creation, and topic management. While content voting and creation can be imagined as part of governance, I still cannot imagine how topic management would be done. What does a topic manager do, and can you provide a specific image?

Every day, numerous new trending topics emerge on the internet. While using AI allows us to effectively aggregate and organize these content, we still need human assistance for some forward-looking tasks. This includes mining valuable topics, such as a year ago when zk was a valuable topic that required gathering everyone's attention. We need topic manager who possess foresight. When a topic minted into an NFT, it means it will be seen by more people, indicating its importance for the future and sparking more discussions. It's a cool job. Of course, on the product level, there are still many details we need to address.
