MEV Bots on Friend.tech: Over $2 Million in Profits From Sniping Keys

At least 143 MEV Bots have sniped more than 20,000 friend.tech keys and earned more than 2 million USD in profits recently.

The SocialFi friend.tech application on Base has yet to cool down in the Twitter community after announcing the start of distributing reward points to accounts testing the application in the beta phase and revealing that it had organized a seed capital round

Three months ago, with the participation of the famous Paradigm investment fund. This information not only attracts investors and KOLs to participate in keys trading but has recently seen the involvement of MEV Bots.

Based on the dashboard on Dune Analytics, @tomwanhh, a member of the @21.co team specializing in data analysis, has provided many exciting details about the activities of MEV Bots participating in friend.tech.

In a recent surge of activity, MEV Bots successfully sniped a impressive number of 22,301 friend.tech keys, racking up earnings exceeding $2.2 million.

Activity of Notable MEV Bots and Their Impact

Among these bots, the 0xcc21 wallet attracted attention when it sniped 96 keys and earned a significant profit of about 580,000 USD, ranking top among other Bots. In addition, some other MEV bots, such as 0x188c, also sniped more than 600 keys and earned 107,870 USD.

A noteworthy point regarding the activity in the Base ecosystem is the overwhelming participation of MEV Bots on friend.tech, which took place from August 21st to today.

This has caused network congestion, making many transactions unable to be executed. Specifically, in the chart below, there was a lot of activity fighting to purchase keys from the bots between August 21st and 22nd.

Compared to the number of successful and failed transactions on Base, the data shows that these two days have the highest number of failed transactions.

A New Sniping Bot in Town


Herro Crypto has a new tool for the friendtech platform. They're using the @frenbotTech bot to automatically grab every new account on @friendtech with speed. Their goal is to get as many keys as possible for their users and holders.
